Registering an Account on ICCup 1. Go to http://www.iccup.com/iccregister/ and create an account. 2. This will be the account used on the actual server as well. 3. You have just finished creating an account with iCCup.
| Installing ICCup 1. Download the following 2 files.
2. Put the "iccup_launcher_setup.exe" file into your StarCraft directory (most likely located at C:\Program Files\StarCraft) 3. Next, unzip the "ICCup_maps.zip" and put all the maps in your StarCraft Maps directory (Probably at C:\Program Files\StarCraft\maps). 4. Run the "iccup_launcher_setup.exe"" and Accept/OK everything until it finishes. 5. You are now done with the installation part of ICCup.
| Getting Started with ICCup 1. Click on the "ICCup Launcher" icon created on your desktop. 2. When the launcher is run, click on "RUN Bw". 3. Click on "Multiplayer" once StarCraft loads up and then click on "BroodWar". 4. You will now see the "Gateway" screen where there used to be "US East, US West, Asia, and Europe" but now there should be a 5th one called "The Abyss (ICCup)". If this isn't checked off already click on it and click "Ok". 5. Login with the username and password created during the "Registering an Account on iCCup" step and you should be in an official iCCup server now.
| Playing Games on ICCup 1. Now that you have entered the iCCup server and are in the designated channel you can start playing games! 2. First thing you would want to do is to make sure your AntiHack is on. To do this type "/AH" and if it says 'Yes' it works (You can also put "/AH ANYOTHERUSERNAME" to check if someone else has AntiHack, if not just exit out of iCCup and restart the "ICCup Launcher" until it says 'Yes' saying you have AntiHack on. 3. You now have 3 options to get into a game.
- The hardest way would be to stay in the channel and try and find a game by looking for people posts that match the description of the game you want to play, and you can post your description as well.
| - The second method is to try and join a game using the "Join" option. This is much faster in finding a game that you like because you see everything there already.
| - The easiest method is to create your own game. Click on the "Create" button and type the Game Name description. For example "1v1 D/D @ Python" would mean that you are a D ranked player searching for another D ranked player to play on Python. Next would be to change the game setting to either One on One for 1v1 or Top vs Bottorm for 2v2 (You HAVE to do this in order for the game to count). Next comes the map, go to the directory where you put all the iCCup maps and select whichever one you want (All iCCup maps have the |iCCup| tag before the actual map name). Last thing is to change the Game Speed to 'Fastest' and you can create your game.
|
4. You've finished the game now what can you do? Go play more!
| Need StarCraft? You can always download a copy of StarCraft: Broodwar at ftp://ftp.theabyss.ru/sc/starcraft.rar. This file contains alot of the regular ICCup maps, StarCraft files so that you can install/play StarCraft. But using this you can only play on iCCup and not on Battle.net.

Good Luck, Have Fun, and GOOD GAME!
