Today we've made some important changes to our starcraft server. The key features are:

• New launcher build, that should solve most of the problems. You can download it HERE
• Fixed a bug with /dnd command.  Messages from your friends will no longer bother you while on /dnd.
• Added "/f on" "/f off" "/f s" commands which are used to manage status of /f messages.
• Higher ranked ladder channels are only avaliable for higher ranked players.
• Allowed usage of /netinfo command for fixing NAT problems
• Fixed several minor bugs

Big thanks goes to our players, who reported several bugs to Technical forums, allowing us to adress those issues quicker and more efficiently.

The new season is coming up at a steady speed of 24 hours a day, and we'd like it to be even better, than the old one, that's why we are recruiting more Tournament admins, so our players can participate in tournaments every day. That's our main goal here.

What requirements do i need to join the staff?

• Ability to host at least 2 tournaments a week, about 3-4 hours per tournament
• Fluent english reading/writing skills
• A high level of maturity and patience
• Ability to keep order and civility in a dedicated Tournaments channel

With the Spirit Tournament Ladder Stage coming to an end (Ends on August 29, 2008 - Shortly before the season on iCCup is completed), some familiar faces continue to stay on the Top 10 of the Ladder. At the beginning of Week 3 in the Ladder stage MYM.Arew was on top, but as the 3rd and final week comes to a finish Nony pulls ahead taking the #1 spot.

As I write this quick summary the Top 10 on the Ladder are Nony, Arew, Fenix, CaStrO, Yayba-, Userzzz, DinOt, fOvea, Arcneon, and Machine. However with the point differences being so small theres no telling what will have changed by the 29th. Check inside for the rest of the information on the current Spirit Tournament!

Monday evening, the ESL announced a big tournament for starcraft broodwar. The 16 slot Tournament includes a qualification phase with four cups, a groupstage and the playoffs.
We are proud to announce, that this tournament will be played on our server and that we have a cooperation with the ESL at this point.

EMS Qualification Cup #1:	31th August	-	1th September

EMS Qualification Cup #3:	7th September	-	8th September

The whole event would be featured by ESL-TV. The group stage will last from September 15th to November 2nd and the playoffs will beginn at 10th of November.

The day has come for the Proleague Playoffs to begin! With the matches about to start in less than 10 hours this is just a quick reminder to everyone to watch the Proleague Playoffs! With OGN showing a rather weird line-up (where the hell is Luxury and WHY is OGN not putting him up?) and STX putting July in a 2v2 instead of a 1v1, this is bound to be something that's one-of-a-kind!
For tonights Playoffs the casting will be done by Diggity and Moletrap and to get the Live Casting (Video and Audio) go to the SC2GG Live Chat Room and the info will be posted there as soon as we get it up. This time the audio stream is capped at 300 + 100 users that will be allowed in the SC2GG Ventrilo Server, and a backup that isn't as high as the default audio stream but is unlimited. Also there will be a Live Discussion in the Chat Room for everyone to enjoy! So GG GL and HF (Click inside for all the details)!

On July 12, 2008 @ 17:30 KST there will be a Live Cast done by Moletrap (and maybe Klazart and Diggity) on the SC2GG Ventrilo server. Along with this (since the Ventrilo limit is 100 people) there will be a Live Discussion going on in the SC2GG IRC Channel located HERE so I encourage everyone to come join in on the fun and cheer on July and BeSt!
